I'm alive. Barely. ;)

School started on August 1st and the kids came back on the 7th. I really like my classes so far. Of course,we're only in week 3. We've already finished the first unit in American Lit and British Lit. We're about to get to some of my favorite stuff...the Crucible and the Middle Ages. *YEAH*

I have two inclusion classes which means that I have at least 7 special ed kids mixed in with my regular kids. So, I'm teaching everyone the same stuff and making modifications as needed. The kids are pretty good...all of them. I have one who can't seem to get to school on time, but considering he's been pulling this same behavior since his freshman year (he's a senior) it is no big surprise. *eye roll*

Married life is awesome. I love my husband. He rocks. Seriously. He hates living here, but he's putting up with it because of me. Thank goodness.

My chapters 1, 2, and 3 of my dissertation (the first 100+ pages) are at committee for them to review. I hope they're done in a couple of weeks. Once I make those corrections, I can send it to the dean. After that (and I make corrections again, probably), I'll finally be able to conduct my research.

HOLY CRAP! I just found Boris chewing up a blue pen. Lovely. Ink is all over him and all over the carpet. That crazy dog! I'm sure I'll have to give him a bath. It looks like he ate a Smurf.

I have pictures to upload in Flickr. I promised Boxx that I would take pictures of my classroom before the start of school and I did.

We're on school holiday today and Monday *WHEEEEE*
